HackNexus'26 is a national-level online hackathon designed to bring together innovative minds from colleges across the country to solve real-world challenges through technology. Whether you're a developer, designer, innovator, or entrepreneur, HackNexus'26 provides the perfect platform to showcase your skills, collaborate with teammates, and build impactful solutions. With most students on their semester break, HackNexus'26 is structured as a fully online event, allowing participants to learn, build, and compete from anywhere. The hackathon focuses on innovation, problem-solving, technical excellence, and real-world impact. Participants can register individually or as a team (as per event guidelines). Interdisciplinary teams are encouraged. Hackathon Structure: HackNexus'26 will consist of three competitive rounds. Round 1: PPT & Abstract Submission (Elimination Round) Participants must choose a problem statement from the list of problem statements provided by the organizers and submit: Submission Requirements: Project Abstract Presentation (PPT) PPT Guidelines: There is no predefined template from the organizers. Teams are free to design their presentation creatively. The PPT should contain a maximum of 8–9 slides covering: Problem Statement Proposed Solution Technical Implementation Approach System/Architecture Diagram Expected Impact Business Model / Scalability Team Information (optional) Conclusion Evaluation Criteria: Problem Understanding Innovation & Creativity Technical Feasibility Impact Potential Presentation Quality Selected teams will advance to the next phase. Round 2: Build Phase Teams shortlisted from Round 1 will develop and implement their proposed solution. Required Deliverables: Source Code Repository (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket) Working Project Deployment/Hosting Link Demo Video (Preferred duration: 4–5 minutes) Project Documentation Impact Statement highlighting the significance of the solution Evaluation Criteria: Technical Implementation Functionality Innovation User Experience Scalability Real-World Impact Documentation Quality Round 3: Final Jury Presentation & Q&A The top-performing teams with exceptional solutions will be invited to the final evaluation round.
