Description:“Hack The Core” is a multi-round technical challenge designed to test participants’ problem-solving, logical thinking, and coding skills in a fun and competitive way. The event consists of three progressive rounds where each round unlocks the next through a passkey mechanism. Participants must successfully complete each stage to advance.
Round 1: Crossword Puzzle:
Participants will solve a technical crossword puzzle containing clues related to programming, computer science concepts, and logic
Solving the crossword correctly reveals a hidden passkey required to enter Round 2
Round 2: MCQ Challenge:
Participants will answer a set of multiple-choice questions based on programming, aptitude, and core CS topics
Each correct answer reveals a part of a code snippet
Participants must combine all revealed snippets and determine the output, which serves as the passkey for Round 3
Round 3: Code Debugging Challenge:
Participants will be given jumbled code and code with syntax/logical errors
They must rearrange, debug, and correct the code to produce the correct output
Evaluation:
The winner will be determined based on who successfully completes all rounds in the shortest time
Accuracy is mandatory—only correct solutions/passkeys will be considered valid for progression
