Hack4Us – Online Hackathon (Maharaja Surajmal College)
Hack4Us is an online hackathon organized by a student of Maharaja Surajmal College, created to encourage innovation, creativity, and problem-solving among students. Participants will collaborate, build impactful solutions, and compete for recognition and exciting rewards.
Guidelines:
Eligibility:
Open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Students from any college/university can participate.
Team Formation:
Individual participation and team participation both allowed.
Teams can have 2–6 members.
Inter-college teams: Allowed
Inter-specialization/Inter-branch teams: Allowed
Hackathon Mode:
Entirely online.
All submissions, presentations, and evaluations will be conducted virtually.
Problem Statements:
Participants will receive 3–5 problem statements across domains like Web Development, App Development, AI/ML, Cybersecurity, IoT, and Open Innovation.
Teams may choose one problem statement to work on.
Round Structure & Duration:
Round 1: Idea Submission
Duration: 24–48 hours
Teams must submit a clear abstract, proposed tech stack, and approach.
Round 2: Prototype/Project Submission
Duration: 24–48 hours
Teams must submit GitHub repo, demo video (2–5 mins), and documentation.
Final Evaluation & Results:
Judges will review submissions based on innovation, functionality, UI/UX, impact, and presentation.
Rules:
All submissions must be original and created within the hackathon timeline.
Plagiarism, copied code, or reusing old projects will lead to disqualification.
Each team can submit only one project.
Communication with mentors/judges should be professional and ethical.
Teams must adhere strictly to deadlines; late submissions will not be accepted.
Decisions taken by the judges will be final and binding.
Participation certificates will be awarded only upon completing all required submissions.
