About the Event:
Web Auction is a unique web development competition where strategy meets execution. Before building your project, your team must first bid for the tech stack you will use. Choose wisely, because once the bidding ends, you can only build using the tools you win.
Each team starts with: 1 Lakh CT Coins
Spend strategically—every bid matters.
Team Structure:
Your team must balance planning and development roles effectively:
2 Members → 1 Bidder, 1 Developer
3 Members → 1 Bidder, 2 Developers
4 Members → 2 Bidders, 2 Developers
Bidders participate in the live auction, while developers focus on building the project using only the tools secured during bidding.
Note: No additional tools or frameworks will be allowed.
Round 1: The Tech Auction (60 Minutes)
Each team receives 1 Lakh CT Coins.
During a live bidding session, teams must purchase items from different tech categories:
Frontend Frameworks
Backend Frameworks
Styling Libraries
Database Technologies
Themes
Each category will include multiple framework options.
Rules:
You must secure at least one item from each category
If your stack is incomplete, you will get one final chance to pick from remaining unsold items
If still incomplete, the team will be eliminated
Round 2: Build Sprint (2 Hours)
Using only the tools you purchased, your team must build a fully functional web application.
No switching stacks
No borrowing tools from other teams
No adding external technologies
Your final project must be deployed and presented before time ends.
