A competitive data analysis challenge where participants work on real-world business and data case studies to extract meaningful insights. The focus is on analytical thinking, problem-solving, and presenting actionable recommendations based on data.
Eligibility:
Open to all students across domains
Teams: 1–5 members
Participants from different colleges or organizations may form a team
Team Formation:
Each team must register with a unique team name
A participant may join only one team
Challenge Duration:
8 hours
Teams must complete and submit solutions within the allotted 8-hour window
Case Studies / Problem Statements:
Multiple real-world business and data scenarios provided at the start
Teams must select one case study and work strictly within the given timeframe
Focus on deriving insights, not just creating dashboards
Evaluation Criteria:
Depth of analysis and quality of insights
Understanding of the problem and approach
Practical relevance of recommendations
Clarity in presentation and storytelling with data
Technical accuracy and cleanliness of work
Code of Conduct:
All work must be done during the challenge; pre-prepared analyses, reports, or dashboards are not allowed
Open-source tools, libraries, and datasets may be used but must be declared
Plagiarism, data copying, or unfair practices result in immediate disqualification
Submission Guidelines:
Submit via designated platform
Include:
Report or presentation summarizing analysis and insights
Notebooks, dashboards, or code files used
Short explanation of approach and assumptions
Submission deadline: within 8 hours from case study release
