Description: Hacknovate 2K26 is the flagship hackathon organized by the Computer Science Engineering Student Association (CSESA) of Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil College of Engineering, Satara. Designed to redefine the traditional hackathon experience, Hacknovate 2K26 introduces a fair, innovation-first competition model where pre-built solutions hold no advantage. Every team competes on an equal footing, solving real-world challenges from scratch within a high-intensity environment. In collaboration with local government authorities of Satara, the hackathon brings forward problem statements derived from real civic and infrastructure challenges across domains such as healthcare, transportation, infrastructure, waste management, and public safety. This is not just a competition—it is a platform where ideas translate into impactful solutions. Selected winning solutions will be shared with respective government bodies, offering participants a unique opportunity to contribute to real-world implementation and societal transformation. Themes: Smart Healthcare Waste Management & Clean City Solutions Agriculture Solutions Infrastructure & Smart Energy Management  Cyber Security Intelligent Traffic & Transportation Citizen Safety & Emergency Response Guidelines: Hacknovate 2K26 will be conducted in two rounds: 1st Round - Online Elimination Round: Teams are required to submit a PPT (Pitch Deck) in the prescribed format. Submissions may include an idea or an existing project; however, participants must select a preferred domain during submission. Entries will be evaluated based on: Innovation and originality Feasibility and practicality Clarity of problem understanding Team capability and approach Shortlisted teams will qualify for the final round. 2nd Round - Offline Final Hackathon (30 Hours): Shortlisted teams will be invited to Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil College of Engineering, Satara for the final round. Teams will receive problem statements on the spot, aligned with their selected domain All problem statements will be sourced from real government sectors Participants must design, develop, and present a complete working solution within 30 hours The round will test technical skills, teamwork, innovation, and execution under pressure Shortlisted teams must confirm participation by paying ₹800 + GST per team Rules: Each team must consist of 2 to 4 members Submission must strictly follow the provided PPT format Domain selection is mandatory during submission A participant can be part of only one team Multiple registrations by the same participant will lead to disqualification of all associated teams All details provided during registration must be accurate and authentic Only shortlisted teams will be eligible for the offline round Teams must build their solution from scratch during the final hackathon Pre-built or previously developed projects are strictly prohibited in the final round External assistance, including mentors, is not allowed during the offline round The decision of the organizers and judges will be final and binding Prizes: First Prize: ₹20,000 Second Prize: ₹15,000 Third Prize: ₹10,000 Perks: Certificates for all participants ️ Complete food support for 2 days (Breakfast, Dinner, Tea, and Snacks) Opportunity to engage with real-world government problem statements Exposure to high-impact problem-solving environment Chance for winning solutions to be considered for real-world implementation Why You Shouldn’t Miss This: Hacknovate 2K26 is built for those who want to go beyond coding and solve problems that truly matter.
