HACKSAGON was first launched in 2020 as a collaborative initiative to bring together innovative minds from across the nation. What began as a partnership between the ABV-IIITM IEEE Student Branch and six prominent IIITs has since evolved into a nationwide phenomenon. Building upon this robust foundation, the previous edition, HACKSAGON 2025, shattered records and set new benchmarks for excellence. It witnessed a staggering participation of over 2,700+ students forming 700 teams across all platforms. The competition reached its peak during the grand finale, where the top 150+ elite teams were selected for an intense on-site showdown, turning ideas into reality. Carrying this legacy forward, HACKSAGON 2026 returns to elevate innovation to unprecedented heights with a prize pool of over Rs 2,50,000.
