A datathon is a data-focused hackathon where participants analyze datasets, derive meaningful insights, and propose data-driven solutions to real-world problems.
It emphasizes innovation, analytical thinking, and clarity of approach.
Analytrix 2026 – datathon is an offline data-oriented hackathon organized by the S4DS Committee, Thakur College of Engineering & Technology (TCET), designed to evaluate participants on problem understanding, approach, and decision-making using data.
Event structure:
The datathon will be conducted in two rounds.
Round 1: Online evaluation round (profile-based shortlisting):
This round aims to shortlist the top 20 teams for the offline datathon based on participants’ profiles and prior work.

Objective:
To assess participants’ exposure to data analytics, projects, tools, and overall clarity of learning journey.
Only the top 20 teams shortlisted from this round will qualify for the offline datathon.
Round 2: Offline datathon (main event):
Shortlisted teams will be announced on 2nd February 2026.
The final round is an on-campus datathon where shortlisted teams will work on a real-world dataset and present their insights to a judging panel.

Final decision regarding shortlisting, evaluation, and selection of teams will be at the sole discretion of the judging panel and the organizing committee.
