Do you enjoy coding but feel limited by routine problem-solving? H42 is designed to push your algorithmic thinking beyond the usual. It is a competitive programming contest where strategy, speed, and teamwork come together under pressure.
Participants will solve a curated set of algorithmic problems within a fixed time, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and optimal solutions.
The contest emphasizes real-world problem-solving skills and structured thinking.
The event consists of two rounds - an online qualifying round followed by an offline final round for shortlisted teams.
Event Format:
Competitive programming contest
Team-based participation (1-3 members per team)
Each round will contain 6-10 problems
Duration per round: 2-3 hours
Judging based on:
Number of problems solved
Penalty time for incorrect submissions (tie-breaker)
Rules & Guidelines:
This is a team event (1-3 members per team)
Inter-college teams are allowed
Only one preliminary round will be conducted (online mode)
Top 20 teams from prelims will qualify for the finals
Participants must adhere to standard competitive programming ethics (no plagiarism or unfair means)
Use of unauthorized assistance/tools during the contest is strictly prohibited
The decision of the organizing committee will be final and binding
