Overview:
Spectrum Code Arena is a competitive programming contest where logic, speed, and strategy come together in a high-pressure coding environment.
The event is organized in collaboration with Codetronics and powered by GeeksforGeeks (GFG).
It is designed for coders who enjoy solving challenging algorithmic problems within strict time limits.
Participants will compete in a single-round offline contest conducted on campus.
The contest will feature a curated set of problems aimed at testing problem-solving ability, coding efficiency, and debugging skills.
Participants must focus on writing optimized code while maintaining accuracy under time constraints.
Eligibility:
The competition is open to all B.Tech students.
Participation is strictly individual and team participation is not allowed.
Guidelines:
Each participant must use only one account during the contest.
The contest duration and number of problems will be announced before the competition begins.
Submissions made after the deadline will not be accepted.
Rankings will be determined based on the number of problems solved.
Time penalties will be applied for incorrect submissions or delays.
Tie-breakers will be applied if multiple participants achieve the same score.
Logistics:
The contest will be conducted offline on campus.
Participants must bring their own laptops with sufficient battery backup.
All required IDEs, compilers, and browsers should be installed beforehand.
Code Of Conduct:
Participants must maintain professional and respectful behavior throughout the contest.
All instructions provided by the organizing team must be followed.
Any form of misconduct may result in disqualification.
Participants must avoid disturbing others during the competition.
Cheating And Plagiarism Policy:
Strict action will be taken against participants involved in any form of unfair practice.
Copying code from other participants is strictly prohibited.
Sharing solutions during the contest is not allowed.
The use of unauthorized tools or external resources is prohibited.
Submissions showing identical solution patterns from multiple participants may be flagged for plagiarism.
Consequences:
Immediate disqualification from the contest.
Ban from participating in future events organized by the host team.
Reporting to the participant’s institution in severe cases of misconduct.
