Event Overview:
Ignite your coding passion in this high-energy hackathon as part of Comsci 2026 at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Campus. Participants will tackle a real-world problem statement to create functional prototypes, blending creativity, AI tools, and technical prowess in a competitive 24-hour sprint. This hackathon will be conducted online via Discord and Whatsapp for communication. All the Project Submissions will be done through Google Forms.
Key Dates:
Problem statement revealed: March 7, 2026, at 1:00 PM IST.
Hackathon duration: March 7, 2:00 PM IST to March 8, 2:00 PM IST (24 hours online).
Eligibility:
Open to students from any recognized college or university. Student ID is mandatory. Teams can form as preferred, but all must commit to the full event.
Rules and Guidelines:
Develop your app entirely during the event based on the provided problem statement—no pre-built code or prior work allowed.
Bring your own devices; all coding, design, and documentation happens online during the hackathon.
AI tools permitted, but teams must comprehend and own all outputs; internet use limited to organizer-approved, legally licensed resources.
Strictly no plagiarism, GitHub/external repos, outside human help, or solution sharing between teams.
Submit a working/demonstrable prototype plus a short presentation; no offensive content; judges' decisions final.
Compulsory for every participant to join Discord and WhatsApp groups for proper hackathon updates.
Platform & Communication:

Submission Requirements:
Teams must deliver a prototype ready for demo and a concise presentation highlighting problem-solving, tech stack, and innovations. Focus on functionality, creativity, and adherence to guidelines for top scores.
