JAI Hackathon is a problem statement based innovation challenge designed to bring together student developers to solve real-world problems. Participants will work in teams to conceptualize, design, and build a technology-based solution over a two-round competition.

Release of Problem Statements:
Problem Statements will be released on 29 January 2026 12:01 AM. This time is given to all participants for ideation.
The hackathon will be conducted in two distinct rounds:
Prelims Round: Online Preliminary Round:
Date: January 29, 2026 12:00 AM - February 03, 2026 11:59PM.
Format: This is a remote participation round. All registered teams are required to make a comprehensive submission via the official event portal.
Submission Deliverables:
A formal presentation (PPT) explaining the solution's architecture, features, and feasibility. There is a slide limit of 10 slides within which the solution must be explained, it will be up to participants how to creatively use the slide limit to explain their solution.
Evaluation: Submissions will be reviewed by a preliminary committee. The top teams from each Problem Statement (PS) will be shortlisted to advance to the Grand Finale.
Finale Round: Offline Grand Finale:
Date: 10th February 2026.
Venue: Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.
Format: All shortlisted teams will present their projects live and in-person. This will include a project demonstration followed by a Q&A session with the judging panel.
