Byte Quest – AI Vibe Coding Challenge 2026 is a 24-hour online hackathon designed for university students who are passionate about coding, innovation, and real-world problem solving. This challenge gives participants the opportunity to combine their programming skills with modern AI tools and transform ideas into practical solutions within a limited time frame. Organized by the GeeksforGeeks Campus Body,RBU the event promises a fast-paced, competitive, and collaborative coding experience.Compulsory for every participant to join Discord and WhatsApp groups for proper hackathon updates
Challenge Works:
The hackathon will run online for 24 hours.
The event will be conducted on Unstop.
The challenge will take place on 3rd–4th January 2026.
Problem statements will be released on 3rd January, 1 pm.
Teams will have to push their work in every 3 hours on GitHub.
Teams will brainstorm, design, develop, and refine their solutions throughout the 24-hour window.
Final project submissions and ppt submission will be done on 4th January.
Projects will be evaluated based on innovation, problem-solving approach, technical implementation, and presentation clarity.
Prize Pool:
The total prize pool for the event is ₹10,000, which will be awarded to the top-performing teams.
In addition, participants and winners will receive certificates powered by GeeksforGeeks, along with exciting goodies and learning resources (subject to availability).
Who Can Participate?
Team size: 2–4 members.
Each participant can be part of only one team.
Rules to Keep It Fair:
All team members must join the Discord and WhatsApp groups (links available in the attached Byte Quest 2025.pdf).
All submissions must be original; plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.
Teams must strictly adhere to submission timelines and event guidelines.
The decision of the judges and event organizers will be final and binding.
