About the Hackathon:
SANKALP BHARAT is a National Level Hackathon designed to empower engineering students to build innovative, sustainable, and socially impactful technological solutions aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat.
The hackathon provides a platform for students to transform real-world problem statements into scalable technological solutions through innovation, collaboration, and rapid prototyping.
Participants will compete in a multi-phase format consisting of a virtual elimination round followed by an intensive 24-hour offline hackathon, where shortlisted teams will develop working prototypes under expert mentorship and evaluation.

Eligibility Criteria:
Participants must meet the following conditions:
Open to all Diploma, B.E., B.Tech, B.Sc., BCA, and B.Voc students from recognized colleges and universities across India
Participants must register as a team of 2 to 6 members
Teams may consist of students from different academic years or disciplines but must designate one team leader
Inter college teams are allowed
Each participant can be part of only one team
All participants must carry valid college ID cards during the offline finale
Shortlisted teams will be invited to attend the 24 hour hackathon at SVPCET, Nagpur
Documents to be Submitted:
All shortlisted teams must submit copies of the following documents during the offline round:
Eligibility Email provided by the organizing team
Aadhar card copy
College ID card copy
Each participant must bring a copy of the above documents for verification.
Hackathon Workflow: The hackathon will be conducted in two structured phases.
Phase 1: Virtual Elimination Round
Ideation and Problem Solving
Problem Statement Release:

Participants will receive problem statements aligned with sustainability, environment and agriculture theme.
Submission Requirements:
Teams must submit a PPT strictly according to the provided template
Selection Criteria:
Top 20 percent of teams will qualify for the Offline Grand Finale

Phase 2: Offline Grand Finale (24-Hour Hackathon):
Date:17 to 18 April 2026
Venue: St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur
Shortlisted teams will participate in a 24-hour on-campus hackathon where they will:
Build working prototypes
Implement their proposed solution
Demonstrate their product or idea to judges

Teams must adhere to the team size limit of 2 to 6 members
Registration fees are non-refundable once registered for the hackathon, excluding accommodation charges
All submitted work must be original and developed during the offline hackathon
Plagiarism or copying existing solutions will lead to immediate disqualification
Judges' decisions will be final and binding
Teams must follow ethical coding practices and avoid illegal data usage
Participants must comply with the event schedule and checkpoint deadlines
Organizers reserve the right to modify event rules if required
