SpectraX '26 : Build Beyond Boundaries:
Organized by AIMSS, VIT Pune
SpectraX is a high-energy Hackathon designed to challenge boundaries. We are looking for the best minds to build groundbreaking solutions in an offline, 9-hour intense coding showdown.
Guidelines & Eligibility:
Eligibility: Open to all engineering students across India (B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech).
Team Size: Minimum 2 and Maximum 4 members (including the Team Leader).
Inter-College Teams: Allowed. You can form teams with students from different colleges.
Inter-Specialization Teams: Allowed.
Registration Fee: Round 1 (Screening): Free for all teams. Round 2 (Grand Finale): Only shortlisted teams pay a nominal confirmation fee of ₹299.
a) VIT Pune Students: ₹299 (Flat).
b) Non-VIT Students: ₹299 + applicable GST/taxes.
c) Note for Inter-College Teams: The applicable fee is determined solely by the Team Leader's institute.
Rules of the Competition:
Unique Team: A student cannot be a member of more than one team.
Leader's Responsibility: The team leader must ensure all details entered are accurate. Once submitted, team details cannot be altered.
Originality: Plagiarism will lead to immediate disqualification.
OFFICIAL SUBMISSION:
a) The PPT must be uploaded exclusively on our official portal: https://aimss-vit.vercel.app/spectrax/.
b) Format: Submissions must strictly follow the Official 6-Slide Template. Deviating from this format or exceeding the slide limit may lead to rejection.
Note: Submissions made only on Unstop without a corresponding entry on our website will NOT be evaluated.
Venue: The Grand Finale is an OFFLINE event at VIT Bibewadi Campus, Pune.
Competition Structure & Timeline:
Phase 1: Registration & Screening (Online):
Registration Deadline: 10th February 2026, 12:00 PM (Noon).
PPT Submission Deadline: 10th February 2026, 06:00 PM.Teams must upload their 6-slide presentation on the official portal before this cutoff.
Phase 2: Shortlisting & Challenge Reveal
Results Announcement: 11th February 2026 (Morning).
Shortlisted teams will be notified to complete the confirmation fee payment immediately.
Fresh Problem Statements will be released to shortlisted teams later on the same day (11th February).
Phase 3: Grand Finale (Offline)
Date: 12th February 2026.
Venue: VIT Bibewadi Campus, Pune.
Time: 08:30 AM - 06:00 PM (9 Hours of Innovation).
Note: The detailed itinerary and reporting instructions will be shared exclusively with the shortlisted teams.
Prizes
Total Prize Pool: ₹15,000 + Certificates + Swags.
