What if AI could help eliminate disease, expand opportunity, or strengthen democracy? That question is the starting point for Build for Impact the first hackathon hosted by the Claude Builder Club at the University of Rwanda.
This is part of the global CBC Spring 2026 Hackathon happening simultaneously at 78 universities across 12 countries. You will be building alongside students in the US, UK, India, Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, and Kenya on the same day.
You choose a track. You identify a real problem. You build something that works. You present it. That is the challenge.
THE TRACKS
1 — Biology & Physical Health: Make healthcare more accessible or help people manage physical health conditions
2 — Neuroscience & Mental Health: Expand access to mental health support and understanding
3 — Economic Empowerment & Education: Remove barriers to learning and economic opportunity
