Central India Hackathon - Chapter 3 (CIH 3.0) is a 24-hour national-level innovation marathon organized by Suryodaya College of Engineering & Technology (SCET), Nagpur, under the Youth Tech Connect (YTC) initiative. This edition brings a strong focus on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN - SDGs), empowering young innovators to build scalable, sustainability-driven and impact-oriented solutions.
After the massive success of CIH 1.0 and CIH 2.0, this chapter returns bigger, sharper, and more challenge-driven, inviting developers, thinkers, and creators from across India to solve pressing global challenges aligned with SDG 3 and SDG 9.

Hackathon Theme Tracks (SDGs)
SDG 3: Good Health & Well-Being - Build solutions that enhance healthcare accessibility, diagnostics, mental health, emergency response, medical data analytics, assistive technologies, and wellness tools.
SDG 9: Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure - Create innovations around Industry 4.0, automation, smart manufacturing, sustainable infrastructure, digital solutions, supply chain tech, and socio-economic development.

Hackathon Format
Round 1: Idea Submission
Participants must submit their innovative idea aligned with SDG 3 (Good Health & Well-Being) or SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure).
All submissions must be uploaded through Unstop in the form of a presentation.
A standard PPT template is provided in the brief/case and in the attachments section for uniform evaluation, and each team must compulsorily follow the given template.
Only original, non-plagiarized ideas will be accepted.
Round 2: Evaluation & Shortlisting
All submitted ideas will be reviewed by a panel of industry experts, academicians, and domain specialists.
Evaluations will be based on:
Innovation & creativity
Technical feasibility
SDG alignment
Potential real-world impact
Clarity & execution approach
The top 100 shortlisted teams will be selected for the 24-hour offline finale at SCET, Nagpur.
Round 3: Final Round ConfirmationShortlisted teams must confirm their participation by paying a mandatory fee of ₹1000 per team within the given deadline.
This fee covers:
Accommodation for the event duration
Food arrangements for all team members
Upon successful payment, teams will receive an official confirmation and invitation to participate in the onsite 24-hour hackathon at Suryodaya College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur.
Prize Pool Details
Each SDG track has been allocated a total prize pool of ₹50,000, and for both tracks (SDG 3 & SDG 9), the prize distribution is as follows:
