Genesis Hackathon 2026 is a 24-hour Shark Tank-style startup hackathon organized by the Rotaract Club of SRM Easwari Engineering College, designed to simulate the real-world journey of building a venture from scratch. Participants will work in teams to ideate, validate, build, and pitch innovative solutions to real-world problems through structured rounds including ideation, prototype development, and final presentation. The event features diverse problem statements across domains like AI, IoT, sustainability, and open innovation, along with optional engagement activities to ensure a high-energy experience. The registration fee is ₹600 per team (3 members).
Rules:
Each team must consist of exactly 3 members
All submissions must be original work
Teams must follow round-wise submission requirements
Participants must not leave the venue without prior permission
No refunds will be provided after registration
Any form of malpractice or plagiarism will lead to disqualification
All participants must maintain discipline and follow event guidelines
Judges’ decisions will be final and binding
Eligibility:
Genesis Hackathon is open to college students from all disciplines who must register in teams of three members and be available for the full 24-hour duration, with a basic understanding of technology, business, or problem-solving recommended.
