Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Kharagpur, in association with Ashoka innovators for the Public and Connecting Dreams Foundation, invites you to embark on a strategic journey through the AI landscape. As a flagship offline AI competition of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) 2026, "AI Volution" Themes & Focus Areas: While the deep-dive focuses on the application of AI for social impact, participants will be evaluated on: SDG Alignment: Proposing an AI-based solution that addresses a specific real-world problem under a chosen Sustainable Development Goal. Solution Design & AI Approach: Building a prototype that clearly explains the problem, the design architecture, and the specific use of AI. Strategic Roadmap: Demonstrating a clear path from the initial working model to a scalable real-world application. Social Differentiation: Solving for global challenges using innovative machine learning techniques that outperform traditional models. Competition Structure: Round 1: Preliminary Case Submission (Online) Present your initial findings and strategic roadmap in a concise 5 slide presentation (excluding the introduction and bibliography/glossary). This crucial first step allows you to demonstrate your understanding of the SDG theme and your proposed AI approach. Submission Deadline: January 27th, 2026. Round 2: Semi- Finale (On-campus at IIT Kharagpur) The top shortlisted teams will be invited to the hallowed halls of IIT Kharagpur during GES 2026. Semi-Finalists will expand their proposals into a comprehensive 10-12 slide presentation and pitch live to a jury panel of experts. This stage provides national visibility and the opportunity to engage in direct interaction with the jury for feedback, evaluation, and recognition. Round 3: Grand Finale: Op-performing teams will be invited to a National-Level Event, where they will get the opportunity to showcase their prototypes to a wider audience. During this event: Teams will present their solutions live A jury panel of experts will review the prototypes Participants will engage in direct interaction with the jury Feedback, evaluation, and recognition will be provided at the national level This stage aims to give teams national visibility, expert insights, and an opportunity to demonstrate their real-world impact. Eligibility & Registration: Team Size: 1-10 members. Disciplines: Open to students from all academic years and disciplines (UG, PG, MBA, PhD).
