Override.exe is a Jeopardy-style cybersecurity competition designed to test your problem-solving and technical skills in a fast-paced, competitive environment. Participants will solve challenges across domains such as Web Security, Cryptography, Reverse Engineering, Forensics, OSINT, and Steganography. From decoding hidden messages to analyzing files and uncovering vulnerabilities, each challenge pushes you to think like an attacker and a defender.

Round 1: Online Qualifier
Participate in an online CTF round
Solve challenges across multiple domains
Teams can participate remotely
Evaluation based on challenges solved, difficulty, and time
Top teams will be shortlisted for the final round.
Round 2: Final Round
An on-campus Jeopardy-style CTF competition.
Shortlisted teams will compete on a dedicated CTF platform.
Participants can choose and solve challenges in any order.
Submit flags to earn points and climb the leaderboard.
Final results will be based on leaderboard rankings.
Note:
The online qualifier round and final round will be conducted on an online CTF platform.
Scoring is based on:
Number of challenges solved
Difficulty level of challenges
Time of submission (for tie-breaking)
Eligibility:
Open to all undergraduate students
Participants from any college or institution can apply
Basic knowledge of programming and cybersecurity is recommended.
Team Rules:
Teams can have 1, 2, or 3 members.
Every participant must register individually first.
Once all members have registered, the Team Leader forms the team by entering teammates' registered email IDs in the team formation form before Round 1 begins.
Each registered participant receives an invite on their dashboard to join the team, which must be accepted to confirm.
Once a team is confirmed, it cannot be changed; team assignments are permanent.
Cross-college teams are allowed.
Rules & Guidelines:
Participants must bring their own laptops and chargers
Internet access will be provided at the venue
All challenges must be solved during the event duration
Brute force attacks or misuse of infrastructure are strictly prohibited
Sharing flags between teams is not allowed
The decision of organizers/judges will be final
Registration Process:
Step 1: Click on the “Register Now” button on the event page and complete your individual registration by filling in the required details.
Step 2: Create your team or join an existing team. If you are forming a team, add members using their registered email IDs on the platform.
Step 3: All invited team members must accept the team invitation on their dashboard to confirm the team formation.
Step 4: Ensure that your team size is between 1–3 members and that all members have successfully joined before the registration deadline.
Step 5: Once the team is finalized, you will receive a confirmation on the platform and via email.
