The MDBA Youth Hackathon is a premier initiative by the Maryland Blockchain Association and the Blockchain Legal Institute designed to empower high school students. This hackathon is limited to students in 10th, 11th and 12th grade, and must have an adult sponsor. By engaging high schoolers through STEM/TAG programs and community groups, the hackathon fosters real-world skills in blockchain, education, gaming, AI, LegalTech, and sustainable development. Participants will bridge the gap between youth and institutional pipelines, developing deployable prototypes that address societal challenges like anti-corruption and social good. With robust mentorship from industry leaders and blockchain protocols, students gain the expertise and recognition needed to thrive in the emerging tech ecosystem. PLEASE NOTE: Prize pool is still developing, the amount you see now may not reflect the actual prize amount.
