Eligibility:
HackVerse 2.0 is open to:
College students (undergraduate) from any discipline.
Teams consisting of 2 to 4 members.
Note: The team cannot consist of members from different colleges (Same college but different branches are allowed).
Domains:
HackVerse 2.0 covers a variety of domains, including but not limited to:
AI / ML - Building intelligent systems that learn from data to automate decisions and solve complex problems.
Cybersecurity - Developing secure systems and solutions to protect data, networks, and applications from threats.
FinTech - Creating innovative technology solutions to improve financial services, payments, and digital transactions.
Healthcare - Designing technology to enhance medical services, patient care, and health data management.
EduTech - Building digital platforms and tools that improve learning, teaching, and educational access.
Open Innovation - An open category for interdisciplinary ideas that don’t fit into a specific domain but solve real-world problems.
Note:
Teams will be evaluated based on technical expertise and problem-solving ability. Domain preference does not require prior industry experience.
Once a domain is selected during registration, it cannot be changed under any circumstances.
Rounds Overview:
Round 1 is online and free for all participants. Up to 50 - 55 teams will be shortlisted for Round 2.
Shortlisted teams for Round 2 will have to pay a registration fee of Rs. 800.
Round 2 is the final round - the main hackathon that will be held at Watumull Institute of Engineering and Technology (WIET), Ulhasnagar, Mumbai.
Round 1 Details:
Round 1 is free for all participants.
Team leaders will be asked to submit their and their team members resume and GitHub profiles for scrutiny.
They may also receive a phone call from our team for a short telephonic interview based on their specific domain.
Registrations for this round will start from 12th February 2026 till 2nd March 2026.
Round 2 Details:
Round 2 is the main offline hackathon that will be conducted at Watumull Institute of Engineering and Technology on the 13th and 14th of March 2026.
Teams will be given a list of problem statements from which they have to select one and come up with innovative solution.
They will have 24 hours to prepare and present it to our panel of judges.
Food and accommodation will be provided on the 13th and 14th of March to all shortlisted participants.
Judging Criteria:
Innovation & Creativity (20%) – How unique and groundbreaking is the idea?
Technical Implementation (30%) – The complexity, efficiency, and execution of the solution.
Impact & Feasibility (20%) – How useful and scalable is the solution in real-world applications?
Presentation & Pitch (15%) – Clarity, demonstration, and explanation of the project.
User Experience & Design (15%) – The interface, ease of use, and overall design.
Fees:
Round 1 is completely free.
Round 2 has a fee of Rs. 800 for all shortlisted teams.
Additional Details:
Check-in Time: 9:00 AM on 13th March 2026.
Accommodation: Sleeping facilities will be provided on the college campus for all participants.
Food: Meals and refreshments are included for the duration of the 24-hour event.
Decision of Judges and Organisation will be Final.
