About the Hackathon Welcome to Agentic Sprint, proudly presented by the WPU Computer Society of India Student Chapter! Step into the future of Artificial Intelligence with a multi-phase hackathon strictly focused on building autonomous AI agents that can reason, utilize external tools, and independently solve multi-step problems. If you are passionate about pushing the boundaries of AI beyond simple text generation and into the realm of actionable, autonomous creation, this is the battleground for you. Hackathon Structure & Guidelines Phase 1: Ideation & Prototyping (Online) Dates: Submit anytime between 4th April – 11th April 2026 Overview: Design, build, and test your agentic AI systems under real-world constraints. Submission Requirements: Presentation (PPT): Detailing your problem statement, approach, agent architecture, and potential impact. Documentation: Clear, step-by-step instructions on how to run your project. GitHub Link: Required only if you are submitting a functional prototype. Special Rules for Phase 1: A working prototype is not mandatory to clear this round; strong ideation and architectural design can win! If you do build a prototype, you are restricted to using only the following models: 1) Llama 3.2 3B 2) Phi-4 Mini 3.8B3) Gemma 3 4B Phase 2: Refinement & Scaling (Online) Dates: 13th April – 14th April 2026 Overview: The top selected teams from Phase 1 will refine their solutions using advanced AI models to present a production-ready system. The Perks: To help you scale your vision, selected Phase 2 teams will receive a share of ₹30,000 worth of API credits. These credits can be used to integrate frontier LLMs, such as Claude, Gemini, or GPT, taking your agentic systems to the next level! Grand Finale: The Ultimate Pitch Date: 15th April 2026 Venue: MIT-WPU Campus + Online Overview: The finalists will present their fully realized autonomous agents to our panel of judges for the ultimate prize. Prizes & Rewards Massive Prize Pool: Compete for a share of the ₹25,000 prize pool of cash prizes and goodies!
