Project Morpheus 2026: The Awakening, hosted by SIT Lonavala (STES), is here — a national-level awakening where code meets reality. Over 24 hours of intense building, brainstorming, and deployment, developers will break the simulation to solve real-world problems and showcase their innovation.
Key Details:
Registration & Round 1 (The Filter) Deadline: 28th January 2026
Final Onsite Round (The Construct): 26th – 28th February 2026
Venue: SIT Lonavala Campus & SKN Sinhgad Institute
Prize Pool: INR 2 Lakhs+
Theme: Real-World Impact Domains
Theme: Break the Simulation Participants must choose the "Red Pill" and solve critical challenges affecting millions. Instead of open innovation, teams must select one of five specific impact domains: EdTech, Healthcare, Women Safety, Agritech, or Fintech. The aim is to move beyond theory and build deployment-ready solutions.
Round 1 – The Filter (Idea Submission): Round 1 is currently live. As soon as you register, you can form your team and submit your vision via the presentation template. Both registration and submission close on 28th January 2026.
What to Submit:
Problem Statement: Select one of the defined problems (available at https://www.projectmorpheus.in/problem-statement).
Solution Approach: Describe your proposed architecture and the "Red Pill" solution.
Tech Stack: List the technologies (Web, AI/ML, Blockchain, IoT) you plan to use.
Impact: Highlight how your solution solves the specific "glitch" in the real world.
Evaluation Criteria for Round 1:
Innovation & Creativity (25%): How novel is the approach?
Problem Understanding: Does the team grasp the root cause?
Feasibility (15%): Can it be built within 24 hours?
Social Impact: Does it align with the mission to solve real problems?
Final Onsite Round (The Construct): Top shortlisted teams will be invited to SIT Lonavala for the grand 24-hour offline hackathon from 26th–28th February 2026. Teams will architect, code, and deploy their prototypes in a high-energy environment, presenting live to industry experts.
Engaging Activities:
Live mentorship from industry experts and founders
Networking with investors and accelerators
Incubation opportunities for top projects
food, accommodation, and Matrix-themed swag
Conclusion: Project Morpheus 2026 serves as a launchpad for students to awaken to their potential. Don’t miss this opportunity to enter the construct and build the future!
