Claude Code London 03 - 'Build an MCP App' Hack Night

No‑shows will be remembered in Memory.MD for next events ;) We are celebrating MCP Apps being an official MCP extension to discover how you can build MCP apps with Claude Code. Format: This is a Hack Night (mini hackathon), so you are expected to bring your laptop and build a real MCP App by the end of the session. You will then submit your project to the judges from Alpic and Anthropic. Winners: The winners will be selected during the asynchronous judging round. We prepared great prizes that will help you productionize your project! Teams: You can be a solo builder or a part of the team. Maximum 2 members per team are allowed. Program: ​18:00 Doors open - Pizza and drinks. 18:30 We present the goal of the night, prizes, deliverables. 18:45 We do a technical deep dive into building MCP Apps with Claude Skills and Alpic open source framework 'Skybridge'. 19:30 The hack session begins! You bring to live your idea for an MCP App using our starter App template. The theme of an App should be "solve an everyday 'at work' issue". You have 1.5 hours. Members of technical staff from Alpic and Anthropic will be on site to help you. 21:00 Lightning pitch session - a few teams will be selected to showcase their project on stage with a 1 minute pitch. Relax and have fun! This is not a part of the judging. 21:15 Networking and drinks You will be able to refine your project over the weekend.
