Build AI That Remembers. Think Beyond Context Windows. What if AI systems could truly remember - not just across a few prompts, but across long, evolving interactions? That's the challenge we're putting in front of you. NeuroHack Challenge is a week-long hackathon organized by IITG.ai in collaboration with Smallest.ai, focused on building scalable, real-world AI systems. Participants will work on a single, industry-grade problem statement provided exclusively by Smallest.ai, designed to reflect practical challenges faced in modern AI deployments. This is your opportunity to apply strong system thinking, technical depth, and innovation to solve problems that matter in real production environments. A total prize pool of ₹30,000, along with PPI and PPO opportunities, awaits top-performing teams. About Smallest.ai: Smallest.ai is an AI startup building next-generation conversational and voice AI systems. The company focuses on real-time, production-ready AI with strong emphasis on intelligent memory, low-latency inference, and scalable system design. Their work spans applied language models, speech technologies, and AI systems deployed in real-world applications. Timeline: Hackathon Duration: 6th February - 12th February(EOD) Registration Deadline: 7th February Format: Online, single-round hackathon Eligibility Criteria: Open to students currently enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate programs Participants must register in teams of 2 to 3 members Cross-university teams are allowed Cross-year and cross-specialisation teams are allowed PPI opportunities are available only for students graduating in 2027 Hackathon Format: This is a single-round hackathon All teams will work on one common problem statement The problem statement will be launched on 6th February Teams are expected to design and build a complete solution within the hackathon duration Submission details and evaluation criteria will be communicated via email and the IITG.ai website Rules and Guidelines: Participation is strictly team-based Each participant can be part of only one team All submissions must be original work developed during the hackathon period Plagiarism, reuse of existing solutions, or copying code/content without attribution will result in disqualification Teams must adhere to ethical AI practices and fair competition standards The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any team found violating the rules PPI/PPO opportunities are not guaranteed offers and are subject to evaluation by Smallest.ai
