HackGreenwich is a fast-paced, beginner-friendly hackathon hosted at the Greenwich Library, where creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration come together in just 3 hours. Participants will work individually or in small teams to design and build a project that addresses a real-world problem or explores an innovative idea using technology. Whether you’re into coding, design, AI, hardware, or just brainstorming creative solutions, HackGreenwich is a space to learn, experiment, and build — no prior hackathon experience required. What makes HackGreenwich special is its short, high-energy format. Instead of an all-night event, hackers focus on rapid ideation and execution, making it perfect for first-time hackers and busy students. Mentors will be available throughout the event to help teams troubleshoot, refine ideas, and stay on track. Event Schedule (3 Hours): Welcome & rules overview, Team formation & ideation, Hacking time, Project submissions, Demos & judging. Come build something cool, meet new people, and challenge yourself — all in one afternoon at the library.
