Event Overview: OPTIQUEST 2026
OPTIQUEST is a premier technical competition organized by the Department of Computer Applications at R.V.R & J.C. College of Engineering (Autonomous). Held in association with the SWAA (Students working on Advanced Applications) Club, this event is designed to challenge and showcase the programming proficiency and logical reasoning of students across various technical disciplines.

Date: March 24, 2026 (Tuesday)
Registration Deadline: March 22, 2026
Team Composition: Teams of two members
Target Audience: Students of B.Tech, M.Tech, and M.C.A.
Venue: MCA Computer Lab (Main Block)
Competition Structure:
The event is divided into two rigorous rounds designed to test both fundamental knowledge and advanced problem-solving skills:
1. Prelims: Technical Proficiency Test
Time: 10:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
Format: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
Topics: Core programming languages including C, Java, and Python.
Objective: To filter the top-performing teams based on their conceptual clarity and speed.
2. Mains: The Final Frontier
Time: 01:00 P.M. to 03:00 P.M.
Format: Advanced technical challenge.
Objective: A high-stakes final round to determine the ultimate winners through complex problem-solving.
Rewards and Recognition:
To encourage excellence, the department has announced significant cash incentives:
First Prize: Rs. 2,000/-
Second Prize: Rs. 1,500/-
Third Prize: Rs. 1,000/-
Participation: Certificates will be awarded to all students who qualify for and participate in the Final Round.
