Develop digital solutions to address community challenges such as waste management, public services, and urban maintenance. The initiative aims to enhance accountability, increase public awareness, and encourage community engagement. Each team must identify a specific real-world issue within their local area.
Guidelines:
Teams must choose one real local community problem.
The problem must be defined clearly in the idea submission round.
Solutions should be digital (app, website, system, dashboard etc.).
All submissions must be original and developed during the hackathon duration.
Teams must keep all links (GitHub, demos, documents) accessible for judges.
Plagiarism, template-based submissions, or copied code will lead to disqualification.
No external help from non-team members is allowed during the hackathon.
Respectful and ethical conduct is mandatory.
Rules:
A team can submit only one idea.
All team members must be present during evaluations.
Solutions must be functional or at least demonstrable by the final stage.
Judges’ decisions will be final.
Late submissions for any stage may lead to disqualification.
Any attempt to violate fairness (copying online projects, incomplete GitHub history) will disqualify the team.
