About the Hackathon:
Lithos is the flagship tech-driven hackathon hosted by Trojans, aimed at uniting top-tier engineering talent in a dynamic environment of innovation and collaboration.
The initiative empowers students to apply technical skills, inventive thinking, and analytical abilities to tackle meaningful challenges across three sectors: EdTech, IoT, and Miscellaneous.
The competition is structured into four phases:
Virtual round for idea submission and assessment
High-intensity 6-hour on-campus sprint for selected teams to bring concepts to life
Teams work under time pressure guided by real-world problem statements to craft impactful solutions

Eligibility:
Participants from any department and year are eligible
A team must consist of 2–5 members
Team members can be from diverse departments and colleges
Teams can be formed irrespective of gender
Guidelines:
Team members must bring their college ID for verification
No changes in team composition will be permitted after registration
Projects must be original and not submitted to any other hackathons
Teams shortlisted for the on-campus round must participate with the same registered members
Any violation of eligibility criteria will result in immediate disqualification
Round 1 (Online):
Participants must submit creative and unique ideas based on official themes and problem statements
Idea submissions must be uploaded only through the Unstop platform
Submissions must strictly adhere to the provided PPT template
Late submissions will not be accepted
Deadline: 24-01-2026
Evaluation and Shortlisting:
Ideas evaluated based on clarity of presentation
Presentation must demonstrate clarity, storytelling, and effective communication
Shortlisted teams will be invited to participate in the on-campus hackathon
Round 2 (On-Campus):
Only teams shortlisted from Round 1 are eligible
Each shortlisted participant must pay an on-campus participation fee of ₹200
One hour allocated for further modifications and discussions
College staff will evaluate the ideas and shortlist teams

Round 3 (Evaluation):
Only teams shortlisted from Round 2 are eligible
External jury members will evaluate teams based on:
Presentation
Prototype
Innovation
Feasibility
Relevance to the theme
Round 4 (Finale):
Teams advancing to Round 4 will showcase their prototype
Finalists will defend their solution through a live Q&A session
Evaluation will focus on depth of knowledge and adaptability
Reporting and Conduct:
Participants must report at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time
Late entries will not be permitted
Participants may leave the venue only with permission from the organizing committee
All instructions issued by the organizing committee must be strictly followed
Any attempt to influence or sabotage other teams will lead to disqualification
Result Declaration and Judging:
Judges will assess the uniqueness of the idea compared to existing solutions
Solutions must work as intended to solve the problem efficiently
Teams must clearly demonstrate a working prototype
Ideas must portray originality
Prizes and Rewards:
Exciting cash prizes and rewards for the top 5 teams of Lithos 2026
Winners and runners-up will receive internship opportunities
Second runners-up will receive a cash prize and goodies
Winners and shortlisted teams will receive certificates of excellence and merit
Participants can expect goodies and merchandise throughout the event
Participants must be present for the entire duration of the hackathon to be eligible for certificates
