How its going down We're bringing 400 creators together for one full day to learn, experiment, and ship real AI-generated videos from scratch. You'll get hands-on access to Seedance, ByteDance's latest video generation model, with free credits to build throughout the day. We'll walk you through everything — from setup to your first generated video — with guided tutorials and on-site support. Then you create. You'll have ~5 hours to create a short video (30–45 seconds) under one of three competition themes. The best videos win cash prizes and bonus credits. This is a create day. You are a creator. What This Video Generation Hackathon is a full-day, hands-on competition where you use AI to create a short video under one of three themes: 🎙️ Theme 1: The AI News Anchor Create a realistic AI-avatar news broadcast segment. Pick a trending topic, generate an AI anchor, and produce a short news clip — complete with graphics, B-roll, and a professional broadcast tone. Could your clip pass as a real news segment? 📱 Theme 2: The Social Media Brand Avatar Design an AI avatar as the face of a brand on TikTok or Instagram. Create a 30–60 second short-form video — a product launch, brand story, or campaign teaser. Make it scroll-stopping. 🎓 Theme 3: The AI Explainer Create an educational explainer video using an AI avatar as the host. Teach a concept in under 90 seconds — science, finance, culture, anything. Make the complex simple and visually captivating. You choose one theme. You Create it.
