We’re not just hosting a hackathon, we’re building a movement. A weekend where ideators, builders and changemakers converge to solve real problems, both global and local, with tangible impact. Why You Should Be Here This isn’t another “hack for fun” event. It’s where skills meet service, and ideas meet execution. A high-energy weekend spent building solutions for real charities and councils, not filler projects. Mentors, workspace, food and drinks provided—so you can focus on building the change you want to see. What You’ll Build Challenge themes span: Global issues brought by trusted charities Local problems posed by city councils and communities From policy-tech, civic-apps, actionable dashboards, to community platforms All aimed at actual deployment and impact, not just prototypes. Who’s Invited? Anyone with a skill, a vision, and a desire to build something that counts. 16+, so if you’re in college or 6th Form, Come through! Teams of up 6 people, 2 people minimum. Experience level? Doesn’t matter. Fresh ideas welcome. We’re proud to host this edition at the prestigious British Muslim Heritage Centre in Manchester.
