The ACM Student Chapter of VIT Pune is organizing a 24-hour hackathon aimed at encouraging innovation, creativity, and technical problem-solving among students. Participants will compete in teams to develop impactful solutions to real-world challenges within a limited time.

Round 1 – Project PPT Submission (Online)

Participants must submit a PowerPoint presentation of any of above problem statement.

Only PPT submission is required in this round. No source code or repository links are required.
Good to have video demo link in PPT. Based on the evaluation of submissions, approximately 50 teams will be shortlisted for the final round.
Round 2 – 24-Hour Offline Hackathon
Shortlisted teams will participate in a 24-hour on-campus hackathon.
Problem statements will be revealed on the event day
Teams must develop a working prototype within 24 hours.
Final evaluation will be based on innovation, technical implementation, feasibility, and presentation.
Only the Shortlisted teams are required to pay a registration fee of ₹500 per team to participate in the final round.
Accommodation for one night will be provided to participants.
One Time Dinner will be provided during the hackathon. Refreshments will be provided to participants.
Eligibility:
Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from recognized colleges
Participants must have a valid college ID.
Inter-college teams are allowed.
Inter-specialization teams are allowed.
Team Guidelines:
Each team must consist of 3–4 members.
A participant can join only one team.
Team Leader needs to join Whatsapp group for further updates.
Rules:
All participants must carry a valid college ID during the offline round.
Teams must develop their solution within the given hackathon duration in the final round.
Any form of plagiarism or unfair practices will lead to disqualification.
The decision of judges will be final and binding.
Certificates will be awarded to all finalist teams. Winners and runners-up will receive prizes.
