Melinia’26 Hackathon is a three-stage innovation challenge designed for students who want to solve real problems, not just write code. This hackathon pushes teams to question assumptions, measure real-world impact, and build solutions that actually matter. This is not a typical hackathon where ideas are rushed and prototypes are built without direction. At Melinia’26, teams begin by identifying meaningful problems, proving their scale with logic, and then refining their solutions with direct guidance from mentors. If you believe good technology starts with a strong “why,” this hackathon is for you. The Vision: Our goal is to nurture problem-solvers who can move from insight to execution. Participants will work across six innovation verticals and be evaluated on clarity of thought, logical reasoning, and real-world relevance. Shortlisted teams will receive focused mentorship to strengthen both their technical approach and problem understanding before entering the final build stage. Why Participate: Mentorship-driven approach with guidance from mentors Strong focus on problem clarity and impact, not just features A structured selection process that rewards logical thinking Opportunity to build and present solutions in a high-intensity final round Exposure to startup founders, professionals, and potential opportunities Innovation Verticals: AI, Data and Automation Smart Healthcare and MedTech Smart Cities, AgriTech and Sustainability FinTech and Digital Economy Education Technology (EdTech) Open Innovation We encourage participants to innovate boldly, collaborate respectfully, and most importantly — enjoy the hackathon experience. Code smart, think big, and have fun!
