About The Event:
SITNovate 2.0 2026 is a national-level hackathon that brings together innovative minds to solve real-world industry problems. Participants progress through an online screening round before competing in an immersive 24-hour on-campus hackathon at SIT, Nagpur.
This event emphasizes practical implementation, originality, teamwork, and technical excellence—offering students a competitive platform to showcase their problem-solving abilities and build impactful solutions.

Round 1: Online Screening Round
Registration Fee: FREE
Online Screening Round of SITNovate 2026, designed to evaluate teams on their problem understanding, technical thinking, system design ability, and solution feasibility - without requiring any coding. This round ensures that only well-thought-out, original, and technically sound ideas progress to the final on-campus hackathon.
Submission Requirements:
Each team must submit the following:
Solution Presentation (PPT)
Based on the official Round-1 PPT template (Released with Problem Statement)
Note: No source code is required in Round 1.
If selected in Round 1, you will proceed to the On-Campus Hackathon.
Round 2: 24-Hour On-Campus Hackathon
Registration Fee: ₹500/team
Shortlisted teams compete in an intensive 24-hour coding marathon at SIT, Nagpur. This is where ideas transform into working solutions through continuous development, collaboration, and innovation.
Teams build complete, functional prototypes that address real-world industry challenges while maintaining active GitHub repositories to demonstrate iterative development.
Eligibility Criteria:
Open to all from any recognized institution
All branches and specializations are welcomed
Inter-college teams are allowed
Inter-specialization teams are encouraged
Valid college ID required for on-campus finale
Team size: Exactly 3 members
Rules & Guidelines:
Team Composition: Exactly 3 members per team; one participant cannot be part of multiple teams
Participation Fee: ₹500 per team (only for shortlisted teams)
Originality: All submissions must be original work created during the hackathon
Open Resources: Use of open-source tools, libraries, and APIs is allowed
Plagiarism Policy: Submitting pre-built complete solutions will lead to immediate disqualification
GitHub Requirement: Teams must maintain regular commits during the final round
Code of Conduct: Any misconduct or rule violation results in disqualification
Final Authority: The judging panel's decision is final and binding
