ProtoThon ’26 is a 12-hour national-level hackathon organized by Prince Dr. K. Vasudevan College of Engineering and Technology, jointly hosted by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Department of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AI & DS), and Department of CSE (Cyber Security). The event is designed as a well-structured, time-bound innovation challenge that brings together students, developers, designers, and problem-solvers to collaboratively ideate, design, and develop functional prototypes addressing real-world challenges. ProtoThon ’26 provides an intensive, hands-on, and competitive environment that encourages participants to apply engineering principles, emerging technologies, creativity, and teamwork to transform innovative ideas into practical solutions. The vision of ProtoThon ’26 is to cultivate a strong culture of innovation, prototyping, and problem-solving among students by offering a collaborative platform that bridges academic knowledge with real-world applications, empowering young technologists to become future-ready innovators and leaders.
