About the VishwaNova Project Hackathon
VishwaNova 2026 is a national-level innovation project hackathon designed to bring together students from across India to build, showcase, and present impactful solutions.
Unlike traditional hackathons, this format allows you to submit your existing ideas/projects and compete at a national stage — combining the flexibility of a project competition with the intensity of a hackathon.

Hackathon Structure
Round 1 – Online Idea & Project Submission
Kickstart your hackathon journey by submitting:
Project Presentation (PPT/PDF)
2–3 Minute Video explaining:
Problem statement
Your solution
Prototype (if available)
Expected real-world impact
Upload via Google Drive or YouTube (public access)
This round evaluates your idea, thinking, and execution approach.

Round 2 – Final Hackathon (Offline Prototype Showcase)
MIT World Peace University, Pune16 April 2026
Shortlisted teams will:
️Present their working prototype/model
Demonstrate real-world application
Be provided with dedicated stalls to showcase their projects
Explain their solution to judges and visitors
Participation Fee: ₹800 (only for shortlisted teams)
Note: Food and accommodation will NOT be provided.
Teams must come prepared with their prototype,setup and extension board.
*No building on the spot — come prepared with your prototype and pitch.

Projects must be original
Plagiarism leads to disqualification
Shortlisted teams must attend offline finals
