FutureLink IoT

FutureLink IoT Tournament is a technical competition organized by the Department of Electronics (LUMINOUS) to encourage students to design innovative Internet of Things (IoT)–based solutions for real-world problems. Participants will propose, design, and demonstrate IoT systems focusing on automation, smart monitoring, efficiency, or sustainability. Team Structure Team Size: 1–2 members Inter-college teams are allowed Eligibility Open to undergraduate students Participants from all engineering and technology branches are eligible Round 1 – Idea & PPT Submission (Online | Elimination Round) Participants must submit a PPT (8–10 slides) including: Problem Statement Proposed IoT Solution Working Principle Components Used (Hardware & Software) Expected Output Future Scope Submission will be done through Unstop. Shortlisting will be based on innovation, feasibility, and technical clarity. Round 2 – Live Demo & Q&A (Final Round) Shortlisted teams will: Present a working hardware model OR simulation/software demo Deliver a 5-minute live demonstration Face 2–3 minutes of Q&A from judges Judging Criteria Innovation & originality Technical understanding Feasibility & practicality Working accuracy / demonstration Presentation & explanation Rules & Guidelines Teams must adhere to the idea submitted in Round 1. Any form of plagiarism will lead to immediate disqualification. Internet access during live demo may be limited. Judges’ decision will be final and binding.
