Smart Campus Hackathon 2026 is a national-level innovation challenge inviting undergraduate students across India to design and prototype intelligent digital systems aimed at transforming university ecosystems.
Event Structure:
The hackathon will be conducted in three phases:
Phase I – Idea SubmissionPhase II – Online Screening RoundPhase III – 24-Hour On-Campus Grand Finale
NOTE: Advancement to subsequent phases will be based on evaluation and shortlisting.
Eligibility:
The competition is open to undergraduate students enrolled in recognized institutions across India.Participants must provide valid institutional identification upon request.Only team registrations are permitted. Individual participation is not allowed.
Team Composition:
Each team must consist of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 5 members.Cross-college teams are permitted.A participant may be part of only one team.Team composition cannot be altered after Phase I submission without prior approval from organizers.
Phase I- PPT Submission~

Phase II –Online Screening~
Dates: 22–23 March 2026
1) Each shortlisted team will receive a presentation slot.2) Presentation Duration: 5–7 minutes.3) Q&A Duration: 3–5 minutes.4) All team members must be present.5) Participants must maintain professional conduct throughout the session.

Phase III – GRAND FINALE (ON CAMPUS)
Dates: 24–25 March 2026Venue: South Asian University, New Delhi
1) Duration: Strictly 24 hours.2) Teams must build a functional prototype during the hackathon window.3) Participants must carry their own laptops and necessary hardware.4) Internet access will be permitted.5) Use of open-source libraries, APIs, and frameworks is allowed.6) Pre-built templates are permitted; however, the core logic and implementation must be developed during the event.7) External assistance from mentors or third parties during the 24-hour period is strictly prohibited.

1) Maintain professional and ethical behaviour. 2) Respect judges, organizers, volunteers, and fellow participants. 3) Avoid plagiarism or intellectual property violations. 4) Follow campus rules during the final round. 5) Refrain from disruptive or unethical conduct.

Disqualification Policy:
A team may be disqualified for:
Plagiarism or copied implementation
Misrepresentation of identity
Unauthorized external assistance
Rule violations
Misconduct
Missing submission deadlines
NOTE: Organizers reserve full authority in such decisions.
Intellectual Property:
The intellectual property of the solution remains with the respective team.
Organizers may use solution summaries, screenshots, and event photographs for promotional purposes.
Logistics and Facilities:
Meals will be provided during the final round.
Accommodation details (if applicable) will be communicated separately.
Travel expenses will not be reimbursed unless specified otherwise.
