Event Overview: Codathon 13.0 brings a fresh, marine-inspired adventure designed to test creativity, logic, and problem-solving skills through light-hearted challenges. Instead of high-pressure competition, participants navigate interesting logical obstacles and surface with clever solutions.
Philosophy: This event addresses a growing concern: many rely on LLMs to write code, which degenerates problem-solving skills and logical thinking. Programming has always been about integrating science, engineering, coding, logic, and willingness to struggle through ideas. We want to create a space where participants can genuinely test their abilities.
Participation: Individual event only. Participants may bring their own laptops (optional). Lab computers might not have tools for every language.
Important: Using AI tools such as ChatGPT is strictly prohibited and leads to immediate disqualification. False identity leads to immediate disqualification.
