All That You Need to Know About FantomCode 2026
FantomCode 2026 is a National-Level 24-Hour Hackathon organized by the Department of ISE-CSE Cluster and MCA Department of RV Institute of Technology and Management (RVITM), Bengaluru.
This hackathon brings together innovative minds to design and develop impactful, scalable, and technically sound solutions to real-world problems within an intense 24-hour development sprint.
Theme: Open Innovation
FantomCode 2026 follows an Open Innovation format.
There are no predefined problem statements or restricted categories. Teams are free to build solutions in any domain of their choice.
Participants are encouraged to identify real-world challenges and develop creative, original, and technically strong solutions. Novelty, innovation, and practical applicability will be key factors in evaluation.
Hackathon Structure:
Round 1 – Idea Submission & Online Presentation:
Teams must submit a detailed idea proposal.
All applicants will present their idea in an online presentation round on March 28th.
Each team will be given approximately 10 minutes to present their idea, problem statement, proposed solution, technical approach, and expected impact.
Teams will be evaluated based on:
Innovation & originality
Feasibility
Technical clarity
Problem relevance & impact
Presentation quality
70 teams(50 for B.E./B.Tech and 20 for MCA) will be shortlisted for the final offline round.
Round 2 – 24-Hour Offline Grand Finale:
All core development must be done during the hackathon.
Teams must build and demonstrate a working prototype.
Throughout the event, evaluation would be done in multiple rounds.
Teams must present before a panel of judges.

Eligibility
Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from recognized institutions.
Participation allowed in teams of 2 to 4 members.
Cross-college teams are permitted.
Basic knowledge of programming and development is recommended.
Registration Fee
Registration Fee: ₹600 per team.
Payment will not be processed through Unstop.
Teams must complete payment via the official payment link provided in the description or register directly through our official website.

Registration will be confirmed only after successful payment verification.
