Eligibility:
Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from recognized institutions across India.
Students from the following branches are eligible:ECE, EEE, Mechanical, CSE, IT, AI/ML, Data Science, and Aerospace Engineering.
Inter-college teams are allowed.
Inter-specialization teams are allowed.
Each team must consist of 3–4 members.
Format of the Hackathon:
Hacktronics 2.0 is a 30-hour national-level offline hackathon.
The hackathon consists of four domains:
Robotics
AIIoT
TrackSat
VLSI
Problem statements will be provided for VLSI & TrackSat at the start of the hackathon.
For Robotics, sub-domains are as follows:
Biomedical Robotics
Agricultral Robotics
Defence Robotics
Educational Robotics
Smart Cities Robotics
Manufacturing & Industrial Robotics
For AIIoT, sub-domains are as follows:
Smart Agricuture & Environment Systems
Smart Healthcare & Social Impact
Smart Infrastructure, Industry & Mobility
Smart Innovation & Embedded Systems
For Robotics & AIIoT, participants must bring a project within the given sub-domains.
Teams must work continuously during the hackathon hours and submit their final solution within the stipulated time.
Cultural events and bon fire is planed on 20 februrary.
Problem Statements:
Each domain will provide one primary problem statement per team.
An additional “Innovation Factor Challenge” will be assigned during the hackathon.
Incorporation of the Innovation Factor Challenge is mandatory and carries significant weightage in evaluation.
Rounds & Duration:
Single continuous round of 30 hours.
Includes:
Bootcamp sessions (all domains)
Mentoring and review checkpoints
Final project demonstration and evaluation
Rules & Guidelines:
Teams must strictly adhere to the assigned domain and problem statement.
Use of plagiarized or pre-built solutions is strictly prohibited.
All development and design work must be carried out during hackathon hours only.
Teams must be present at the venue for the entire duration of the hackathon.
Any form of misconduct or rule violation will lead to immediate disqualification.
The decision of the judging panel and domain coordinators will be final and binding.

Technical implementation
Problem understanding and solution approach
Incorporation of the Innovation Factor Challenge
Final presentation and demonstration
Additional Information:
Registration fee: ₹750 per person till 18th February.Registration includes meals, bootcamp access, mentorship, cultural event access, and participation certificates.
Top-performing teams will receive cash prizes and GATE preparation materials.
