Bug Bash 2026 is a hands-on coding competition focused on debugging skills and logical thinking. Participants work on a pre-configured system where they identify, analyze, and fix errors in real code. The event tests how efficiently you debug, understand code, and deliver correct solutions under time pressure.
Eligibility
Open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students
Only individual participation is allowed
Registration through Unstop before the deadline is mandatory
Valid college ID is required for entry

Event Format
Debugging Challenge (Single Round)
Participants will be provided with a system setup
A folder will be available in Visual Studio Code containing:
Python codes
Java codes
C++ codes
Each folder contains multiple programs with bugs and errors
Participants must identify and fix the issues in the code
Create a new folder with corrected code files
Submit all fixed programs within the given time
Process
Register through Unstop before the deadline
Report to the venue 15 minutes before the event
Access the provided system and codebase
Debug the programs across all folders
Save corrected codes in a new folder
Submit your final solutions within the time limit
Results and certificates announced at the end
Rules
Only individual participation is allowed
Use the provided system for debugging
Internet, AI tools, and external resources are allowed
All submissions must be original work
Plagiarism or copying leads to disqualification
Follow strict timelines
Judges’ decisions are final
