A few weeks ago, dozens of builders, ocean experts, and climate technologists gathered for the Ocean Tech Hackathon, organized by Climate Tech Club. Over the course of the event, teams worked on real-world ocean challenges—from the California kelp crisis to broader marine ecosystem solutions—developing new tools, applications, and ideas for protecting our oceans.
At this Ocean Cluster meeting, Ami Zou (Founder, Climate Tech Club) will walk us through how the hackathon came together, the problem statements teams tackled, and the solutions that emerged. We’ll also hear about what’s next: which projects may continue working with NGOs and how the event helped catalyze new collaborations in the ocean and climate innovation ecosystem.
Meet in the 9Zero club space at lunch time to hear what was built and accomplished!
