LINKS: https://jacobcole.wikihub.md/agi-house-llmwiki/linksJoin us for the inaugural AI for Thought Night, hosted by Tristan at AGI House San Francisco. After four successful hackathons, we're creating a focused, recurring space to explore how AI can reshape the way we navigate and connect knowledge, beginning with the theme of mapping knowledge systems.
Doors open at 6:00 PM. Settle in, meet the room, and help yourself to a cheese platter, fresh veggies and fruit, and a few handmade pastries.
The session kicks off at 6:30 PM with an opening talk by Tristan Matthias, who has been researching information centralization systems, setting the frame for the evening's theme. Jacob Cole and Julius Ritter will then take the floor to explore how AI can be used to build a second brain, including a hands-on look at how to build your own personal wiki using a single prompt drawn from your iMessage, Claude, or ChatGPT history. We'll close out the night with collaborative reading or vibe coding, wrapping up by 10:00 PM.
About AI for Thought
AI for Thought builds on the tradition of Tools for Thought — methods concept mapping or personal wikis — that have long helped people think, learn, and manage knowledge more effectively. AI for Thought asks what happens when we refine and extend these tools with AI: interactive reading experiences, generative curricula, embedding-powered linking, generative flashcards, ML-driven search over personal data, auto-generated knowledge graphs, and entirely new possibilities like real-time proactive search and knowledge environments customized to the way you think.
