She Solves Hackathon is a multi-stage, women-oriented hackathon organized by PCET's Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering, Department of Computer Engineering. The hackathon aims to empower female coders by providing a platform to innovate, build, and present technology-driven solutions to real-world problems. The event emphasizes creativity, technical skills, teamwork, and social impact, encouraging participants to design meaningful solutions aligned with real-world challenges.
Eligibility Criteria:
Participation is open to female students only
Inter-college participation is allowed
Inter-specialization team members are allowed
Teams must consist of 2 to 4 female participants
Tracks & Problem Statement Format:
Participants must choose one track and one domain.

Round 1: Registration, Ideation & Proposal Submission:
Mode: Online
Duration: Up to 18th January 2026
Description: Teams must register and submit a detailed proposal explaining the problem statement, proposed solution, and technical approach.
Submission Requirements:
PowerPoint Presentation (Maximum 6 slides) as per ACM-W format
Video presentation (Maximum 5 minutes) explaining the PPT

Shortlisting: Top teams will be shortlisted for Round 2
Deadline: All submissions must be completed on or before 18th January 2026
Round 2: Online Hackathon:
Mode: Online
Duration: 24 Hours
Date & Time: 20th January 2026 (9:00 AM) – 21st January 2026 (9:00 AM)
Description: Shortlisted teams will begin coding their proposed solution.
Submission Requirements:
Submission of a public GitHub repository link via Google Form at the start of the round
Rules:
Minimum 30 commits within 24 hours
Repository must show active and meaningful contributions
Plagiarism of any form will lead to immediate disqualification
Outcome: Work developed will be carried forward to Round 3
Round 3: Offline Hackathon:
Mode: Offline
Date: 22nd January 2026
Time: 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Duration: 5 Hours
Venue: 6118 & 6119 Labs, First Floor, Department of Computer Engineering, PCCoE
Description:
Teams must report 30 minutes before the start time
Participants will continue coding and refining their projects offline
Shortlisting: Teams successfully completing development will advance to Round 4
Round 4: Project Presentation:
Mode: Offline
Date: 23rd January 2026
Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Venue: 6201 Classroom, Second Floor, Department of Computer Engineering, PCCoE
Description:
Teams will present their final solutions before the judges
Judges will evaluate presentations and assign scores
Winner Announcement:
Winners will be announced after completion of all rounds
Final results will be based on overall performance across all rounds
Judges’ and the organizing committee’s decisions will be final and binding
Platform :
The She Solves Hackathon will be conducted in a hybrid mode.
Round 1 (Registration, Ideation & Proposal Submission): Online via the official registration platform and submission links shared by the organizers.
Round 2 (Online Hackathon): Online, with project development carried out remotely and submissions made through a public GitHub repository and Google Form.
Rounds 3 & 4 (Offline Hackathon and Project Presentation): Conducted offline at PCCOE Campus, in designated Computer Engineering Department labs and classrooms.
Registration Fees:
PCCOE Students: Free
Non-PCCOE Students: ₹100 per team
General Rules & Guidelines:
Strict adherence to all deadlines and submission guidelines is mandatory
Any form of plagiarism, misconduct, or rule violation will result in immediate disqualification
All team members must actively contribute throughout the event
