About the Event Kalinga University, Raipur, is hosting KU Hackathon 2026, a 24-hour national-level innovation sprint organized by the Department of Computer Science & Faculty of Information Technology. The hackathon invites students and young professionals across India to code, create, and contribute towards solving real-world challenges. Theme: “Code. Create. Contribute: Solving Real-World Problems through Technology” Participants will ideate, prototype, and pitch their solutions in interdisciplinary teams, guided by expert mentors and evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges.Participants can choose one domain to work on: FinTech – Secure, inclusive, and efficient digital finance solutions. Gaming & Gamification – Games and gamification for learning, health, or social impact. Cybersecurity – Tools & systems to protect data, devices, and networks. Waste Management – Smart, tech-driven solutions for sustainability. Prizes (Total worth 77,500/- INR ) 1st Prize: ₹25,000 2nd Prize: ₹15,000 3rd Prize: ₹10,000 4th Prize: ₹7,500 Consolation Prizes: ₹5,000 each (Total 20,000) Eligibility & Team Size Open to all university students & young professionals across India. Team Size: Maximum 2 members (+1 optional mentor).
