Kingdom Royale – Colloquium 2026:
Organized by Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala.
As part of Colloquium, it is an intense data science competition, where participants compete on a mystery dataset and battle live on the leaderboard.
This is not just about coding, it’s about strategy, smart feature engineering, optimized submissions, and staying ahead in a high-stakes leaderboard race.
About The Challenge:
Participants will receive a mystery dataset at the start of the competition.
Your mission:
Analyze the dataset and uncover hidden patterns.
Perform feature engineering.
Build and optimize predictive ML models.
Strategically time submissions to maximize rank.
Every decimal matters. Every submission counts.
Team Size & Eligibility:
Open to Undergraduate and Postgraduate students from all institutions.
Participants from all branches are eligible.
Team participation allowed (1–3 members per team).
Cross-college teams are allowed.
Competition Format:
Dataset and problem statement will be released at the start.
Multiple submissions allowed.
Live public leaderboard throughout the competition.
Final Ranking:
Final results based on:
Performance on the private leaderboard.
Compliance with competition rules.
Fair-play validation.
Rules & Guidelines:
Teams can have maximum 3 members.
Use of open-source libraries and frameworks is allowed.
External datasets are not allowed unless explicitly mentioned.
Plagiarism, code copying, or unfair collaboration between teams will lead to disqualification.
The decision of the organizing committee will be final and binding.

Total Prize Pool: Upto Rs 5000.
Prizes for top-performing teams.
