Event Name:
TRIVERSE 3.0 – Table Battles & Social Deduction Challenge
Event Description:
TRIVERSE 3.0 introduces a two-round competition combining bluffing, logical thinking, and strategic risk-taking.
The event challenges teams not only to solve technical problems but also to analyze opponents’ behavior and make strategic bets.
The competition begins with table battles where teams compete directly against each other, followed by a final social deduction round for the winners.
Team Size:
2 to 3 members per team.
Competition Structure:
Round 1: The Table Battles
Each table will have two competing teams.
At the start of the round, both teams will receive an equal amount of fake currency notes.
Question Phase:
Each round consists of two questions.
For each question, one team becomes the active team and receives a coding or logic-based problem.
The active team must solve the question within a specified time limit.
The opposing team will observe the process and cannot interfere or assist.
Betting Phase:
After time ends, the observing team will bet a portion of their fake currency on whether the active team solved the question correctly.
At the same time, the active team will also place a bet on their own performance.
Both teams reveal their bets simultaneously.
Outcome:
If the bet is correct, the team wins money from the pot.
If the bet is incorrect, the team loses the amount they wagered.
The process is repeated for the second question, with team roles reversed.
Advancement:
After both questions, the total fake currency held by each team is counted.
The team with the higher amount of currency advances to Round 2.
In case of a tie, a sudden-death tiebreaker question will be asked.
No betting is allowed during the tiebreaker, and the first team to answer correctly wins.
Strategy Note:
Teams may strategically underperform or bluff during the problem-solving phase to mislead their opponents’ betting decisions.
Bluffing is allowed and considered an integral part of the game strategy.
