Event Information: Mirage CTF is a premier online coding challenge hosted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (AVV), Chennai. Participants solve hidden-flag challenges across multiple cybersecurity and programming domains. The team with the highest total score at the end of the event will be declared the winner. Team Composition: 1–3 membersMode: OnlineDuration: 3 hours System Requirements: Laptop or PC Stable and reliable internet connection Themes and Focus Areas: OSINT Web exploitation Reverse engineering Forensics Binary exploitation Cryptography Eligibility and Team Structure: Open to all cybersecurity enthusiasts, college students, and programming, law, or art students Team size: 1–3 members Cross-college teams allowed Competition Structure: Round 1: 22 February 2026 – Preliminary Online Qualifier (prelims are only for qualifying; no prize money) Round 2: Final round (date to be decided, offline; prize pool subject to change) Final standings: Based on leaderboard ranking at the end of the challenge duration Why Participate: Skill Development: Solve high-level problems reflecting real-world security and programming challenges Networking: Connect with a community of like-minded tech enthusiasts Rules and Code of Conduct: Attacking the CTF platform itself (DDoS, DoS, or similar attacks) is strictly prohibited Sharing solutions, hints, or flags with others is strictly prohibited Plagiarism or use of unfair means will lead to immediate disqualification Any malpractice will result in team disqualification Ensure a stable internet connection throughout the event Organizer’s decision is final in case of disputes Note: Preliminary round is only for qualifying to the final round, no prize money will be awarded for prelims Prize money for the final round winners is subject to change (likely to increase)
